Endings are difficult – will it be the resolution that answers the reader’s questions, ambiguity that keeps the reader guessing, or an epilogue hinting at future fates? Mary Allen will guide you through the options and open up different possibilities.
Mary has worked in the arts all her life, initially as an actor and subsequently as Chief Executive to Arts Council England and The Royal Opera House. She started writing fifteen years ago, drafting several novels and many poems. She is a graduate of the prestigious MA in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, where some our greatest contemporary novelists including Ian McEwan, Anne Enright and Stephen Fry honed their craft.
